State/CD4 Assembly and Convention
Click HERE for list of delegates/alternates!
If you are an alternate:
You should still attend! We have heard from quite a few Delegates who can not attend. There is a chance you will be seated as a Delegate. Larimer County deserves to have full representation at all events.
Registration (as of May 6):
Credentials for 4th CD Assembly and Convention arrived via US mail the week of May 5.
No, you did not receive four credentials for two CD4 events! The tags that say Delegate/Alternate are for Registration – those are the turquoise Assembly and beige Convention tags. The official Delegate Credentials for 4th CD Assembly are lavender and the Delegate Credentials for 4th CD Convention are bright yellow.
The Call for 4th CD can be downloaded from: http://coloradodems.org/docs/2008CD4OfficialCallAgenda.doc.
Credentials for State Assembly and Convention will start arriving via US mail the week of May 12. The Call is posted on http://www.coloradodems.org/docs/2008StateOfficialCallAgenda.doc.
Please do the following:
- Verify that your 4th CD Credentials are correct for your Delegate/Alternate status for Assembly or Convention or both. The link to the list can be found above – or check your notification email from Larimer County Democratic Party. If the credentials are not correct for 4th CD, please contact Larimer County HQ at (970) 689-6391, or by email at ldems@frii.com, and let us know why.
- If you are eligible to attend State Assembly and/or Convention, please visit http://coloradostateconvention.com/?Delegate%2FAlternate_Attendance and submit the requested information as a courtesy to help the Colorado Dems estimate how many people to actually expect. Even if you are NOT planning to go, please submit the information. This is NOT a registration step. Note that this form will accept only name per email but again this is only a survey; it has no bearing whatsoever on your registration or continued eligibility to participate.
- If you’re going to State Assembly, please note that the Resolutions Report has been posted and you are welcome to download various versions of it from the Colorado Democratic Party web site; scroll down to the links below 2008 Colorado Democratic Party Platform
- And, one more thing, keep checking the State Convention web site regularly!
State/CD4 Assembly and Convention Web site:
If you have not already checked the State Convention Web site, please do so. More information is added every week.
Lodging and Car-pooling (NOT the bus):
The State Convention Web site is the place to find Colorado Springs area hotels that have posted a convention rate. If you have not already made your reservations, please do so quickly.
If you would like to share lodging expenses, please contact Mary Scobey at mtscobey1@earthlink.net or call Mary at 970-482-0470 (home), 970-420-3286 (cell). Mary has graciously agreed to put prospective roommates in touch with each other.
